Relics & Artifacts · Truth Quill
The accurate report that still leaves the wrong story

What needs to be made clear?
The quill writes accurate sentences that still mislead when placed beside each other. Its owner realizes the enchantment checks statements but not the story built from them.
Choose relevant context when accurate sentences create a misleading whole. The plain note supplies an action the owner can take. A quill-name becomes more useful if it expresses an editorial standard rather than a guarantee against careless thought.
A truth artifact should expose the difference between a statement and an account. Ink provides a traceable medium. Name the quill after a standard its user must uphold, not a guarantee that thought is unnecessary.
Sentences have neighbors
An individually correct statement can mislead when an important cause, date, or speaker is omitted beside it. Give the quill a narrow rule it follows reliably. Its owner must still choose the account. The formal name may sound absolute because a later legend exaggerated it. An ordinary desk-name can preserve the maker's more modest explanation. The artifact becomes useful when readers can distinguish what its magic checks from the work its user remains responsible for doing.
Context needs independent support
The report model discounts repeated polished drafts and adds support from dated observations, named sources, and explicit omission checks. Its units are fictional editorial conventions, not legal evidence measures. A failed threshold can send the owner to another witness rather than compel a confession from the page. The sensitivity view is especially useful here: changing review effort can reveal a gap without changing any of the sentences already written.
The plain note belongs with the elegant copy
An earned context-name can refer to publishing the qualification where the report is read, not hiding it in a private notebook. Let an editor question the wording for a legitimate reason. The user may need to sacrifice an impressive rhythm to preserve a necessary distinction. The next account should remain vulnerable to another omission. A truth artifact with that limit creates continuing inquiry; an infallible verdict device would leave little for the writer, the owner, or the reader to interpret.
